mobileRED and its integrated Central Command Center (via the web console or mobile device) allows administrators to send broadcast communication to any type of mobile device in their environment, including BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and iPhone. mobileRED’s single-point-of-control provides a powerful communication system that was designed to help organizations communicate through any type of situation, including critical issues (e.g., severe weather conditions, wildfires, earthquakes, terrorist situations, missing children) as well as day-to-day business activities (e.g., field service issues, product or production facility problems, business continuity changes).

mobileRED ensures that important data like contact information, emergency documentation on the smartphones are always up to date.

All user and device information from BlackBerry Servers are copied and stored in the MobileRED database.

User information (e.g. email address, phone number etc) are automatically queried and updated against corresponding Active Directory information

GPS Location tracking

mobileRED allows an administrator to request the real time GPS location of a specified user’s smartphone

One click Conference calling

mobileRED provides a conference calling feature – a link to a conference calling number is sent out.

Recipients can with one simple click join in a conference call.

Audit Trail

mobileRED provides a complete audit trail of every message sent out. It provides complete details of who sent out the message to whom, when the message was sent out, when it reached each smartphone and when each message was acknowledged.

It also provides a link between related messages – i.e. when a message was received and what responses were sent, if any.

Using mobileRED, you can: Send instant communication. Select from individuals or groups of users (even when out of coverage) using SMS, PIN, or direct push technologies for secure paging and emergency communication. Select a specific delivery method or use mobileRED’s integrated delivery manager to send messages using the fastest method available.

Send critical documents. Include photographs or documents for Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) or emergency procedures. Track communications. Know when communication is received and read.

Sending Broadcast Messages

When time is critical, mobileRED’s sleek interface makes it quick and easy to send messages. Send messages to individuals or defined groups. Set the delivery method either direct push, PIN-to-PIN, or SMS. Include important documents or pictures. Enter the text and click SEND—fast and simple! Messages are sent instantly!

Receiving Broadcast Messages

mobileRED’s built-in alert system makes sure critical communication does not go unnoticed. Even when the smartphone is set to silent mode, mobileRED vibrates and chimes until the message is either saved or discarded. Once a message is sent, it cannot be ignored!

Read Receipt Notifications

When you send an emergency notification, you want to make sure it’s received. mobileRED notifies the sender when the communication was received and read on the smartphone. This tracking system keeps records of delivery and open times for the message. After the emergency is over, administrators can run summary auditing reports to see how effective communication played a role in your response teams’ ability to react to the emergency.
