CONCEIVIUM and AppAssure Partner to Provide Integrated Solution for BlackBerry Enterprise Server Disaster Recovery and High Availability

McLean, VA—October 12, 2009—CONCEIVIUM Business Solutions, Inc. announced today the pending release of an upgrade to its industry leading MobileMonitor application for BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) monitoring with Replay from AppAssure embedded. The integration brings proactive monitoring and Disaster Recovery (DR) / High Availability (HA) capacity into the same installation.

A majority of organizations have classified BlackBerry Enterprise Server as a critical infrastructure and are trying to achieve 99.9% uptime. Proactive monitoring and DR/HA projects are key to safeguarding the performance of wireless communications. Many IT groups are now hosting BlackBerry Enterprise Server infrastructure in virtual environments, Replay for BlackBerry Enterprise Server provides a low cost, easy to implement, and highly effective solution. The release of BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 and its embedded high availability promised an integrated solution, but the opportunity for MobileMonitor and Replay exists in the low cost and ease of implementation. Although many organizations initially see BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 HA as a no cost feature, once associated costs for hardware software have been defined the implementation cost quickly adds up. In addition, BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 HA does not support WAN deployments so it does not satisfy the requirements of both high availability and disaster recovery projects.
